2024 In Review

As we begin a new year, we look back at our achievements from 2024.

Work

We had an extremely busy and successful year made possible by our hard working teams collaborating together effectively. Our Project Teams in both the UK and Europe worked with clients in a range of sectors including hospitality, retail, airports and also the exciting experiential industry. Our Production Team pulled out all the stops to design and manufacture a fantastic volume of products in our factory. We also continued to export products made on site at our Hertfordshire office to customers in Europe, USA and the Middle East and source innovative and sustainable products to help clients reduce their energy consumption and improve their environmental impact.

Our Team

Our team are what make Chapman Ventilation the great business that it is, and throughout the year we demonstrated our dedication to our employees. We celebrated events such as Employee Appreciation Day and International Women’s Day, and recognised wellbeing during Mental Health Awareness Week by organising walking lunch events. Learning and Development remained a top priority and we were pleased that more team members completed the IOSH Managing Safety training course and employees attended military courses such as Exercise Executive Leader and the Future Leader course.

Achievements

In 2024, our hard work received recognition in the form of new accreditations and awards. Chapman Ventilation were awarded BESA Group Membership, a highly regarded accreditation as it demonstrates excellence in best practice and compliance to clients, which reinforces our position as an industry leader. We were also pleased to become Planet Mark certified for our sustainability efforts. Finally, we were delighted to be named “Business of the Year South Hertfordshire” at the Inspiring Hertfordshire Awards, a testament to the hard work of our whole team.

Fun

As well as working hard together, we also love to have fun together! We made time to take our team bowling, have an evening in the summer sun, and attend a good old fashioned Christmas party! We also enjoyed a visit from the ice cream van, an Olympic themed afternoon tea and a pancake breakfast on Shrove Tuesday.

Partnerships

Chapman Ventilation continued to sponsor leading hospitality events such as The National Restaurant Awards, Peach 20/20 Hero & Icon Awards and the R200 Awards. We were delighted to celebrate excellence in the industry and showcase our contribution to the sector.

Charity

Our kind and generous employees raised money throughout the year via cake sales and raffles for the charities we have collectively chosen to support; Motor Neurone Disease Association, The UK Sepsis Trust, Isabel Hospice and the Disasters Emergency Committee.

Armed Forces

Support for the Armed Forces remained important to our business and in 2024 we attended an Employer Engagement Breakfast, commemorated the 80th anniversary of the D-Day landings, recognised Armed Forces Week and donated to our local cadet units. We are proud to be long standing supporters of the Armed Forces and show our appreciation for all the service men and women, past and present.

Looking ahead to 2025

We are thrilled to begin the new year by working on some exciting new projects! Plans for more team fun are in the pipeline and we will continue to raise money for charities close to our hearts, as well as recognising important events in the calendar.
