Mental Health Awareness Week has been taking place between 13-19 May 2024.
The theme this year is movement: moving more for our mental health. Regular exercise can make us happier, healthier and reduce anxiety. To recognise the importance of mental health and to support wellbeing at work for our employees, we organised walking lunch sessions this week.
Being located in a garden city, our Mental Health Wellbeing Champions took advantage of the wonderful walks on our doorstep and led the groups around the scenic features within the town.
Colleagues from across the business enjoyed the fresh air and good conversations, and we were also lucky enough to avoid the rain! This simple activity brightened our day and is a great example of how exercise can boost morale and bring teams closer together.
