On 11th November, all at Chapman Ventilation fell silent at 11am to remember those who lost their lives whilst serving their country.
Iain Finch, Head of Group Health and Safety, read a verse from the poem “For the Fallen” by Robert Laurence Binyon ahead of everyone paying their respects during the two minutes silence.
This annual tradition on 11th November was started over 100 years ago in 1919 by King George V.
As Gold Award Holders of the Employer Recognition Scheme, we strongly believe in honouring this tradition, and in recognising and supporting the Armed Forces Community for all that they do for Britain and the Commonwealth.
