As we now head closer towards autumn, we look back at a great summer here at Chapman Ventilation.
This summer we have experienced the driest start to the year for decades, three heatwaves, and record breaking temperatures!
As the temperatures increased, so did our workload. We entered our peak period and the Chapman Ventilation team have been working harder than ever. Fortunately, we work in ventilation and so our office has been the best place to be!
We kept staff cool and hydrated by organising a visit from the local Ice Cream Van and a trip to the pub for payday drinks! Our Managing Director also got the drinks trolley out when the temperature hit 34 degrees on 12 August!
We also haven’t let the troops go hungry. The end of summer saw us reintroduce our famous breakfast baps! The Covid-19 pandemic halted our daily breakfast offering but it’s now back, and better than ever! We now provide the team with the option of a bacon or sausage bap each morning, with the meat sourced from a local butcher in Hitchin and delivered straight to our kitchen. It’s safe to say, we never have any leftovers!
As the seasons change, one thing remains at Chapman Ventilation; we continue to look after each other whilst working hard to get the job done.
