The 80th anniversary of the D-Day landings

The 6th June 2024 marks the 80th anniversary of the D-Day landings.
As signatories of the Armed Forces Covenant and Gold Award Holders of the Employer Recognition Scheme we regularly show our support to those that support our nation, past and present.
Katie, our Armed Forces Champion, said “the landings in Normandy were one of the most significant military operations in history, and it was important to us to come together and pay tribute to all of those involved.”
We commemorated the D-Day landings by organising an afternoon tea for all of our employees to enjoy. Our local catering provider ensured that we marked the occasion in style with scones, Victoria sponge, lemon drizzle cake, fresh strawberries and fruit punch.
