Throwback Thursday: The Isabel Hospice

A heatwave hit the UK last July which may be a distant memory for many, as we struggle to get into work this morning because of the snow, but oh wasn’t it beautiful!

On a scorching hot Wednesday afternoon, we received a call from the team at Isabel Hospice in Welwyn Garden City. Their air conditioning system had broken down, so the office was stifling and the staff were uncomfortable. This highlights the importance of maintaining your HVAC system throughout the year, so when you need it the most it will work how it should. Nevertheless, lucky for the Isabel Hospice we are based down the road from them and we were able to help them at a speedier rate than usual!

Since then we have implemented a maintenance plan for The Isabel Hospice head office and the in-patient unit. We’ve supported The Isabel Hospice for many years as one of our three chosen charities. They are a great bunch and the team are so passionate about the charity that they are raising money for, and we’re so happy to have been able to make an impact too.
